Current Beauty Favourites

Hello Lovelies
Welcome back to my blog.

I realised the other day that i do favourites posts for every month but i don't include beauty products in those, so i've decided that as of now i will be doing separate posts for my beauty favourites. This may not be every month as i may have not been trying anything new so i don't want to just repeat myself but when i do find new things which i love i will make these posts.

So lets get straight into it;

The first set of beauty products i've been loving are from Anastasia Beverly Hills.

The first item is the Dipbrow Pomade: I've been struggling for a while now to find something which works for me and my brows, i've tried so many things and i finally decided to try this and i'm so happy with it, i almost wish i'd purchased it sooner. I use the colour soft brown, which i think works extremely well for me and my skin tone, as well as my hair colour, because i'm constantly changing it, i think it will be something that goes with any hair colour.

The second item i've been absolutely loving is something i've wanted ever since it was released and that's the Moonchild Glowkit: The colours in this are absolutely amazing. Although its marketed as a highlighting palette, i have actually used some of these colours as eyeshadow as well. They work really well and look great. I recommend this product to everyone. Honestly its worth every penny.

The third item(s) are the Liquid Lipsticks: The first one i bought on a whim because i'm not really one for wearing pink on my lips however i purchased 'Milkshake' and was hoping to love it and i did. The second one i bought was 'Heathers' this is a more me colour so i never had any doubt that i'd love it when i purchased it. I'd say its a lovely autumnal or winter colour. The thing i've noticed about the Anastasia liquid lipsticks are that, although pretty much every liquid lipstick promotes that its long wear and you don't have to reapply it much or not at all, most of them you do, however in my opinion these Anastasia ones are actually long wear and don't take long to dry and turn matte.

The second group of things i've been loving are three other liquid lipsticks.

The first of the three is the Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick: I got this in the colour 'Child Star'. I've been looking for a nice nude colour for a while and someone actually recommended this to me and i'm so glad they did. This is promoted as liquified matte long wear lipstick and that's exactly what it is. It doesn't take forever to dry and its definitely long wear.

The second liquid lipstick i've been loving and reaching for a lot since getting it is the Colour Pop Ultra Matte Lip, i bought this in the colour 'Guess' which is a gorgeous purple colour, i expected it to be more of a plumb colour however it is exactly how you see it a lovely purple colour, if you like experimenting with out there colours that people wouldn't normally wear, i'd recommend this to you.

The third liquid lipstick i've been loving is the MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer: I have four different colours in this but the on i reach for most is 'Reckless' which is a postbox red colour. I've always been one for a bright red lip so as soon as i started using liquid lipsticks i was on the look out for a vibrant red. Its long wear and quick to dry matte. I love it.

The third lot of beauty products i've been loving are Technic.

The first product is something i've been using for over a year now and have repurchased numerous times is the Get Gorgeous Highlighting Powder: I would recommend this to anyone who's on a low budget and can't afford high end highlighters, i think i paid £3..40 for this at the most and for the price it's definitely excellent value. It works extremely well with my skin and my foundation.

The second item is the Soft Focus Transparent Loose Powder: I've been using this for a couple of months now and i am extremely impressed with it. I use it to 'bake' after applying my foundation and concealer and throughout the day if i'm looking a little shiny, as i said with the previous product its certainly something i'd recommend to anyone on a low budget.

The final item from the technic brand is the Setting Spray: All i have to say really about this is, buy it. I purchased this item on a whim as i was going to a gig and wanted something to keep my face in tact and this worked perfectly. Unlike some setting sprays it didn't make my face look greasy, wet or shiny. My make up stayed on throughout the whole night despite me sweating throughout the night and again it's good for anyone on a low budget.

The next item i've been loving is an old favourite of mine and that's the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette.

I had this bought for me for christmas, i think it was two years ago, either that or last year. This has to be my favourite eye shadow palette that i've ever had. I reach for it most out of any of my palettes. I just find it so easy to work with. The colours are so pigmented and there is hardly any fall out when applying.

The next items on my favourites is a make up remover and that's the 9 To 5 Cleansing Lotion from Lush Cosmetics.

My skin has become extremely dry because of using makeup wipes and i was looking for something that would rejuvenate my skin. This worked perfectly for me. I have only repurchased it twice as you only need a tiny amount on a cotton pad and you get a lot in each bottle. It's handmade, not tested on animals. suitable for vegans and the bottle is actually made from 100% recycled plastic.

The next item i've been loving is from Primark and that's the pointed metallic nails.

I love having my nails done but sometimes i just can't fit that into my budget so i had a look in Primark at what nails they had as my mum always gets hers from there and i found these. Anyone that knows me will confirm that i have a huge love for anything bronze or rose gold and when i saw these i just had to have them. They say on the box that they can last up to seven days but they do last longer. For £1.50 i cannot complain.

The last product on my favourites is the Eyelure False Eyelashes:

I'm a big baby when it comes to lashes, if they are too much trouble for me to apply i give up with them, however i noticed these were extremely easy to apply and will be repurchasing them once i've ran out. I was actually given these so i'm not entirely sure of the cost.

And that's that, my current beauty favourites done.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
