Goals For 2017

Hello Lovelies,
Welcome back to my blog.
Firstly i just want to say, Happy New Year to all of you, i hope you've all had an amazing, loving and special time throughout the festive period and i wish you all a succesful, happy and amazing 2017.

I don't usually make new years resolutions, i'm not entirely sure why but i have however decided to set myself some goals to have achieved by the end of this year.


My first goal i want to achieve this year is to take back control of my mental health and to not let it control me. I've missed out on so many fun things and opportunities because of my anxiety and depression and looking back on 2016, it makes me sad knowing that i didn't do a lot of the things that came my way. Its never an easy thing to try and do and i don't doubt that there'll be times when i'll struggle and when i'll think whats the point but i will build up some strength to be able to pick myself back up and get myself back on track.

My next goal i've set for myself is to write a 365 day journal. I got a lovely one from Tesco for £6. The reason i'm wanting to do this sort of ties into my first goal, being able to go back and read through my good days and even bad days will help me through my toughest times. For me to be able to read through those will push me forward, i'll be able to see what i can achieve and how i've come through bad times and that it will be okay. It'll also be nice at the end of the year to look back and read all the things i've done and experience throughout the year. 

My third goal is to improve my health and fitness. I know everyone says this but i will make sure that i do it and that i'll keep myself focused on that end goal. I've never been happy with the way my body is, i mean who is? We always find little things that we don't like about ourselves, but i do truthfully believe that if i get myself into an exercise routine and start eating healthier i will feel better about myself. I've had many people who have told me that exercise really can help your mental health also, which again takes me back to my first goal. I have asthma and a heart condition so i do want get myself as healthy as i possibly can, its not all about losing weight for me, that's just a bonus; it's about a healthier, happier lifestyle.

For my fourth goal its something i've been trying to all year but haven't found my motivation and that's to get myself a proper schedule for my blog, to post frequently and not have huge gaps between my posts. 

And my final goal is to just live a happy, fulfilling, successful year. To make lots of memories which i can look back on in the future and smile over.
