Youngblood | 5SOS Review

It's been three long years since we've heard new music from these aussie babes and it feels like we've been waiting forever, but finally we have the new album and I'm totally obsessed with it. 5 Seconds Of Summer released their third studio album on the 15th June and as soon as the clock hit 12 am I immediately saved it to my Spotify and listened to it.

Love Island 2018

Yes, It's back. Last week Love Island returned to our screens and I am all already hooked and invested in this series. I hadn't ever watched Love Island until last year, I was one of those people who judged it before I'd even watched one episode, however having seen all the hype over it last year about six or seven episodes in I decided to watch what I'd missed on catch up and then that was that, I was obsessed, so I was extremely excited for the new series to start last week.

V - REV | Manchester

Calling all vegans and vegetarians if you’re from Manchester or are ever visiting you definitely need to visit V-Rev. Before me and my best friend went to see Fall Out Boy in March we went to V-Rev in Manchester city centre for food. We’ve been there a couple times before and ever since I've been eager to go back.

What have I been up to? | Life Update

It’s been a while since I wrote a more personal post because so much has been going on between, work, uni and life in general so I thought why not give you all a life update, where i’ve been and what I've been up to.

The HUJI App

I noticed a few people were posting pictures with the effect this app produces on your photos however I just assumed it was some Photoshop editing or a big fancy camera they were using and of course I don’t have either of those so I didn't bother asking but then my girl Melissa posted a picture with the same effects on her Instagram story so I had to ask her how she did it and thats when she introduced me to HUJI.

Harry Styles, Live On Tour | Manchester

I can now say that i have been to heaven and it consists of Harry Styles on stage in a fancy Alexander McQueen suit singing one direction and his own solo songs with a bit of Fleetwood Mac thrown in.

Niall Horan - Flicker World Tour | Manchester

I wanted to write this post over the weekend however i’ve been working so I haven’t had chance to write it up. On Thursday 15th March I went to see Niall Horan in Manchester and he was incredible.

I was a massive fan of one direction, some close to me may say I loved them a little too much, I don’t think so though. Niall is the first of the boys i’ve seen live solo and I wasn’t disappointed at all.

International Woman’s Day

Women are strong as hell - and no one can stop us once we set our mind to something.
I am thankful to have been raised by a powerful and strong ass women who fought to get to where she is today. A woman who always made sure - despite her young age i had everything i could ever need. My mother is my best friend - the person i am forever closest to. She know’s me better than anyone else and i am incredibly proud to say ‘thats my mum’.

Things I wish I knew before I started blogging

I’ve learnt a lot since i started blogging, some of which i wish i knew before i had started. It wouldn’t have stopped me from creating a blog, i just would’ve been more prepared.

Wakanda Forever | Black Panther Review

“Because of you, young people will finally see superheroes that look like them on the big screen. I loved this movie and I know it will inspire people of all backgrounds to dig deep and find the courage to be heroes of their own stories.” - Michelle Obama

A Blogging Schedule Isn’t For Me

I always see other bloggers talking about how they’ve planned out their posts for the next few weeks or even months in order to stick to a particular posting schedule and as much as i’d love to be organised and to know what post was going up on what particular day but i’ve tried it and it just doesn’t work for me.

Call Me By Your Name - Book Review

During a restless summer on the Italian Riviera, a powerful romance blooms between seventeen-year-old Elio and his father’s house guest, Oliver. Unrelenting currents of obsession and fear, fascination and desire threaten to overwhelm the lovers who at first feign indifference to the charge between them. What grows from the depths of their souls is a romance of scarcely six weeks’ duration, and an experience that marks them for a lifetime. For what the two discover on the Riviera and during a sultry evening in Rome is the one thing they both already fear they may never truly find again; total intimacy.”

You Should Stop Saying These...

For the longest time i’ve always said i don’t want children and there’s certain things i’m tired of hearing in response to me not wanting a child.

The Day I Met Louis Tomlinson

I did originally have a post about this already but when i revamped my blog i decided to delete it because i wasn’t happy with it and decided to re-write the post. Back in 2015 i bought tickets to the James Coppinger’s Legends charity football match at Doncaster Rovers (Keepmoat Stadium) which Louis was taking part in.

New Year, New Goals.

I can’t believe 2017 is already over and what a whirlwind that was, you can check out my look back post here. I hope you’ve all had an amazing Christmas and New Year.
I never make resolutions as such because i know for a fact i will fail if i put a label on it and force myself to do it, this year i’ve got a few things in mind which i want to work on but i’m not putting a lot of pressure on myself to do so.
