A Blogging Schedule Isn’t For Me

I always see other bloggers talking about how they’ve planned out their posts for the next few weeks or even months in order to stick to a particular posting schedule and as much as i’d love to be organised and to know what post was going up on what particular day but i’ve tried it and it just doesn’t work for me.

I don’t always have ideas for posts so to try and stick to a schedule would for me lower the quality of my content as i would just be posting anything for the sake of getting content on my blog.

Sometimes i’m absolutely knackered from work and on my days off i just want to sleep or chill out and do nothing much, maybe just watch a series or something.
My mental health also plays a huge factor in my blog - if i’m having a bad day or my mental health has taken a dip, as it does then writing posts is the last thing on my mind.

Life can just get in the way sometimes. If i’m off work and i’m not chilling, i’m socialising with friends or family and i don’t want to miss out on that for the sake of getting a post up on my blog.

I love my blog - but i won’t let it run my life or stress me out. I write when i’m inspired to or when i have ideas and thats what works for me. I know everyone has their own things going on, that others work as well and manage to balance their work life, social & family life and their blog and set certain times for each but in my case it just isn’t something that i can do.
My blog is exactly that, mine and i run it and post as much as i want or as little as i want. For me, that works.
Do you have a schedule or set days that you post on your blog? How do you manage to keep on top of it?
